This Week's Update [7/26/15] - Lots of Good Things

[The Weekly Update is an email that was started in the fall of 2010 to keep family and friends informed of my medical condition and has continued as a review of family activities.  Written by Zelma and edited by Steve. Working on adding past issues to the blog.]

Hi All,

Lots of good things happened this week.

GJ had her follow up cardiologist appointment on Friday and had a good report.  The post surgery Eco-cardiogram showed her heart function at 45% - up from 30% pre-surgery.  This was very good news because normal is considered 50-55%.

Steve signed the closing papers to make the sale of his house in Victor final late Thursday.  The process had it's ups and downs and a number of stressful moments - glad it only took about 60 days from listing to closing.

Saturday, we headed to visit Sarah, Mike, and Olivia for a long weekend, so Papa could spend some time with his most favorite girl. :-)

We also got the new jerseys Steve ordered.  They are the special Cycle the Erie Canal design which was a promotion for the Erie Canal Bike tour.  Matthew served as team photographer so that you could see the front and back.

Miles for the week are  55, miles for 2015 are 1987, and total miles are 14,241.

Take care,

Zelma
